Chris will be speaking at the 2008 Machinima Festival in Melbourne, Australia on June 14th and 15th. Hosted by the Australian Center for the Moving Image, the festival will include presentations by our machinima friends and cohorts, Burnie Burns and Frank Dellario as well as other luminaries like Armando Troisi, lead cinematic designer of Bioware and Ezra Ferguson of Rufus Cubed.

Damian will conduct a live interview in Halo 3 with machinima pioneer Paul Marino, who founded the Academy of Machinima Arts and Sciences and wrote "3D Game-Based Filmmaking: The Art of Machinima." Camerawork and cover fire will be provided by the able thumbs and forefingers of Keelbug and Fyb3roptik.

Days later we will hop on down to the Sydney Film Festival to give a presentation on machinima to the members of the prolific and thriving Australian film community. It is really a great priviledge for us to be able to share with such an audience, our stories of shooting in a multiplayer environment. Thanks to Helen Stuckey of ACMI.
