Excellent Gamasutra article on machinima
In all the breaking news lately, we missed mentioning a fantastic article on Machinima in Gamasutra last month. Penned by Raina Lee of the fabulous 1up-zine.com, "Meet The Machinimakers" is an overview of the recent 2006 Machinima Awards. The article also features a few short interviews with some of the filmmakers present.
While she was trolling through the crowd full of talent for an interview subject, Raina bumped into TSL director Chris Burke (arms waving, shouting "ME ME ME!") and sat him down for a quick chat. Long story short, Raina must be some serious journalist seeing as she somehow managed to make sense of his ramblings and post this fine article which also features an interview with award-winning machinima pioneer, Matt Dominianni of The ILL Clan.
